Production Chemist

Analyzes water samples to ensure they meet quality standards, using various testing methods and equipment. They maintain lab records, prepare solutions, and ensure a clean and safe working environment. They also troubleshoot equipment and may participate in sample collection.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in laboratory techniques, analytical methods, and use of relevant equipment.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and interpret results.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and resolve problems related to water quality testing.
• Attention to Detail: Accuracy in recording data and performing tests.
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, and organize the lab environment.

Education and Experience:

• A degree or diploma in a relevant field such as chemistry, biology, environmental science, or related area is often preferred.
• Prior laboratory experience, especially in water quality testing, is highly desirable.
