Product,Industrial design Faculty

The Institute of Art & Design, Kollam, Kerala, is seeking a passionate and skilled Product Design & Visualiser Faculty member to join our academic team. The role involves teaching, mentoring, and guiding students in product design, 3D visualisation, design thinking, and hands-on prototyping.

Key Responsibilities

* Teach courses in Product Design, Industrial Design, 3D Modelling, CAD, Rendering & Visualisation.

* Conduct studio sessions, workshops, and practical training.

* Mentor students on design projects, research, concept development and portfolio building.

* Support curriculum development for emerging design programs combining Art, Design, Engineering & Technology.

* Evaluate assignments and guide students throughout their academic journey.

Skills & Expertise

* Proficiency in **SolidWorks / Fusion 360 / Rhino / Blender / Autodesk Alias / KeyShot** or similar tools.

* Solid understanding of design processes, ergonomics, materials & manufacturing.

* Excellent sketching, ideation, rendering, and visual storytelling skills.

* Ability to inspire and mentor design students.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s in **Product Design, Industrial Design, or related fields**.

* Teaching or industry experience preferred.

* Strong design portfolio required.
