Role Overview

detail-oriented E-commerce Product Photographer

design, category, and marketing teams

Key Responsibilities

Product Photography

• Shoot

  catalog-ready product images

  (white background, lifestyle, flat lays, on-model where required)
• Handle

  high SKU volume

  shoots efficiently (daily/weekly drops)
• Maintain consistent

  lighting, framing, angles, and color accuracy

• Shoot detail shots, texture shots, clasp/closure shots, etc.

Post-Production

• Basic to intermediate

  photo editing & retouching

  (dust removal, color correction, cropping)
• Ensure images meet platform guidelines for:
• Website & app
• Marketplaces (Amazon, Myntra, Ajio, etc.)
• Meta & Google Ads
• Name, organize, and upload assets systematically

Studio & Workflow Management

• Set up and manage studio equipment (camera, lights, reflectors, backdrops)
• Coordinate with:
• Category / merchandising team for shot lists
• Design team for creative direction
• Maintain photography SOPs for repeatability and scale

Creative Support (Nice to Have)

• Assist in

  lifestyle & campaign shoots

• Support short product videos / reels if required
• Experiment with angles or formats to improve

  CTR & conversion

Requirements

Must-Have

• 3–7 years experience in

  e-commerce or product photography

• Strong understanding of

  lighting for small products

• Hands-on experience with:
• DSLR / Mirrorless cameras
• Studio lighting setups
• Proficiency in

  Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop

• Ability to shoot

  fast without compromising consistency

Good to Have

• Experience in

  fashion, jewellery, accessories, or lifestyle products

• Understanding of

  e-commerce conversion needs

• Basic video / reel shooting experience
• Familiarity with Shopify or marketplace image standards
