Product Owner - Vice President

As a Product Owner Vice President at Barclays, you will lead the evolution of the business data and reporting MI team within the business banking product and propositions. You will be responsible for managing and developing both existing and new products and/or services, along with ownership of related customer and colleague journeys. Your role will involve developing the product strategy, driving change through Barclays execution teams, making key decisions in the product lifecycle, and owning associated outcomes for customers, colleagues, and the bank. Effective stakeholder management, leadership, and decision-making skills are essential to support business strategy and risk management. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop customer level strategies & solutions tailored to customer needs - Act as a Subject Matter Expert in the applicable Product/Proposition team - Define priorities for delivering outcomes and lead execution - Develop commercial and business models based on financial drivers - Evaluate technical feasibility, legal compliance, and risks of new product development - Monitor market trends and feedback to refine products before launch - Manage launch plans and technical deployments effectively - Monitor key metrics to assess product performance **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's or master's degree In addition to the above, highly valued skills may include: - User Experience Design - Market & Industry Knowledge As a Vice President at Barclays, you are expected to contribute to setting strategy, driving requirements, and making recommendations for change.
