Product Owner

As a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner, you will be responsible for taking full ownership of the software components for internal tools. Your role will involve acting as a bridge between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring that business requirements are effectively translated into actionable technical tasks. Collaboration with various teams such as product management, UX, development, architects, operations, and QA will be crucial to deliver solutions that meet stakeholder expectations while adhering to the Quality Management System (QMS) standards. Your key responsibilities will include: - Taking full ownership of software components for internal tools, driving their development and evolution. - Leading the development team in delivering high-quality solutions aligned with stakeholder needs. - Collaborating with product management to shape product vision and strategy in alignment with organizational goals. - Creating, managing, and prioritizing the product backlog to focus on the most valuable tasks. - Refining the backlog based on stakeholder feedback, changing priorities, and business needs. - Translating business requirements into technical tasks with input from technical team members. - Ensuring all requirements are testable and have clearly defined acceptance criteria in collaboration with QA. - Interacting professionally with stakeholders to gather inputs and ensure alignment on project goals. - Acting as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding product progress, priorities, and changes. - Contributing to technical documentation to fulfill QMS requirements. - Using metrics and stakeholder feedback to inform prioritization and drive continuous improvement. - Continuously improving processes to enhance team efficiency and product quality. Requirements for this role include: - 4-6 years of experience as a product owner or in a similar role within a software development team. - Strong ability to translate business requirements into actionable technical tasks. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence). - Basic understanding of software development concepts, including APIs, databases, and testing frameworks. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. - Proven ability to balance competing priorities and manage stakeholder expectations. - Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve issues effectively. - Ability to define and document clear acceptance criteria for requirements. - Experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation to meet compliance requirements (e.g., QMS). Nice to have qualifications include: - Experience working in regulated industries or with Quality Management Systems (QMS). - Familiarity with UX principles and user-centered design. - Knowledge of software architecture and development lifecycle. - Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent.
