Job Description

Role Overview: As a candidate for this role, you will be responsible for collaborating closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog. You will assess value, develop, and prioritize user stories to ensure alignment with the product strategy. Additionally, you will provide scrum team backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration/grooming of user stories. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional scrum teams and various stakeholders, including design/user experience, test engineering, and user experience. You will play a key role in ensuring that the scrum team is well-prepared with work items and will oversee feature development throughout all testing phases. Your expertise in Requirement Engineering and Risk Engineering, particularly within the medical device hardware domain, will be crucial. Furthermore, you will participate in the Change Control Board (CCB) and contribute to generating innovative product ideas. Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog - Assess value, develop, and prioritize user stories - Provide scrum team backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration/grooming of user stories - Collaborate with cross-functional scrum teams and various stakeholders - Ensure the scrum team always has a sufficient amount of prior prepared work items - Conduct requirements analysis and develop the system functional specification - Oversee, monitor, and support feature development from inception through all testing phases - Utilize past experience to identify and assess product risks, and provide risk analysis and evaluation support - Perform verification testing of requirements during sprints and system integration test phases - Participate in the Change Control Board (CCB) and coordinate change requests and defect reports - Generate innovative ideas for products and potentially file patents after conducting due diligence with evaluators - Ability to work effectively as an individual contributor Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of product or project development experience in software or hardware, preferably in the medical device industry - Excellent communication skills to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders - In-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles - Strong analytical and decision-making skills - Knowledge of Healthcare IT Standards such as HL7 and DICOM,
