Product Owner

As a Product Owner at PlayCKC, you will play a crucial role in driving the development of our innovative sports fan engagement platform. Your primary focus will be on managing the execution part of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by overseeing product backlogs, writing user stories, and collaborating closely with development teams to deliver valuable product features. Your responsibilities will include managing and communicating with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize tasks, and provide updates. You will be creating and maintaining product backlog items in Jira, writing detailed user stories with acceptance criteria, and collaborating with development teams in daily scrums and sprint planning sessions. Utilizing data and analytics, you will make informed product decisions, measure feature success, and implement iterative improvements based on user insights. Additionally, you will support product operations refinement based on team feedback, track sprint progress, address development issues, and coordinate product launches. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field along with 1-2 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar capacity. Strong proficiency in writing clear requirements, user stories, and documentation is essential, as well as a solid understanding of agile methodologies and the Scrum framework. Experience in working with cross-functional teams, familiarity with Jira and Confluence, and knowledge of SQL, Excel, or BI tools for data analysis are required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are crucial, and a passion for sports would be a plus.
