Description
We seek an Agile PRODUCT OWNER with 5-10 years of experience in the E-commerce and Digital Products domain to be the nexus, guiding the product to success through strategic collaboration. As the authority on digital and product matters, you will serve as the primary point of contact and escalation. Being an essential part of the CedCommerce product team, your responsibility is paramount ensuring seamless alignment between business expectations and the team's deliverables. This necessitates close collaboration with business stakeholders, maintaining alignment with the Product Management Group, and fostering effective communication within the delivery team to guarantee the precise execution of acceptance criteria. What ses this role apart is the ownership you'll be entrusted with, not only of your team but also of the products you'll be steering towards success. This means actively engaging with senior management, serving as a linchpin between strategic vision and on-the-ground execution. Responsibilities well trust you with: Product Backlog Management: Maintain and refine the product backlog. Create user stories and acceptance criteria. Prioritize stories for maximum business value aligned with product strategy. Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary liaison between business and Agile teams. Ensure the development team understands the product vision. Address daily prioritization needs, provide real-time feedback, and answer questions. Collaboration: Work closely with the development team in a hands-on style. Collaborate with the customer success team to understand customer needs and concerns. Requirements Handling: Slice and dice business requirements into user stories in Jira. Work with Product Management to set release dates and assess value delivery. Stakeholder Management and Strategy: Manage stakeholders, conduct workshops and design strategies. Partner with others to roadmap next-generation product capabilities. Create the vision and roadmap for the e-commerce and marketplace domain. Documentation: Create problem statements, business cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Define and document requirements (BRD, Functional Spec, Personas, Journeys). Testing and Quality Assurance: Write and execute business test cases on e-commerce domains. Enable proactive solutions for business profitability through data and process improvements. Market Awareness and Collaboration: Understand best practices and stay informed about the competition. Collaborate with Business Capabilities and IT Services Delivery Teams for optimal application performance. Presentation Skills: Demonstrate exceptional presentation skills at all levels to communicate the product strategy effectively. Experience and Expertise: Have experience working on hierarchies (Customer, Product, Developers, UI/UX). Work on data unification and standardization. Core Competencies Professional Experience: 510 years of professional experience. 5+ years of equivalent experience in leading global, remote, and virtual Product teams. 5+ years of experience in defining and writing requirements. Agile and Software Development: 5+ years of experience with Agile software development. Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence. Business Understanding and Certifications: Ability to listen to and understand business needs. Standard industry certifications such as SAFe, CSPO, or PSPO are preferred. Team Collaboration and Domain Experience: Excellent team player with experience across domains (Customer, Vendor, Finance, Dev, and Product). Demonstrable experience and functional understanding of e-commerce and marketplace architectures. Transformation and Project Management: Experience in driving large-scale transformation, project management, and program management. Subject Matter Expertise in E-commerce & Marketplace. Implementation Lifecycle and Integration: Hands-on experience with platform implementation lifecycle, gap analysis, interface study, and data migration. Exposure to Data Governance best practices. Experience with hybrid (cloud/on-premises) integration architecture patterns. Cloud Platforms: Experience working with Cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to influence peers, executives, and external partners. Work Ethic and Organizational Skills: Strong work ethic with demonstrated attention to detail. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Independence and Team Collaboration: Ability to work both independently and within a close team environment.
