Job Description

Schneider Electric has an outstanding opportunity for a qualified and motivated professional to assume the role of Product Owner/ PLM for UPS battery on a WW basis. The Product Owner will report to the 3-Phase offer management director/Systems UPS league leader and is a key position in a global organization. Product Owners represent the customer and act autonomously to communicate the right vision of the product within the Squad while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders. They partner with League Leaders to set priorities, drive the strategic intent of the product, and maximize the value of work done with the Squad. The Product Owner's responsibilities include defining the value proposition, setting the product strategy, spending time with customers and stakeholders to identify value drivers, understanding customer values, competitive environment, and market trends, and gathering and analyzing customer needs. Additionally, the Product Owner supports business in collaboration with commercial zones, creates, prioritizes, and communicates with Squad members the Squad backlog, release map, and roadmap. They define the sprint strategy and achievement criteria with Squad members and take accountability in sharing outcomes with stakeholders. The Product Owner also supports the Squad to deliver on sprints and rendezvous, acting as an obstacle troubleshooter, and creates a conducive and collaborative environment through effective leadership. Minimum Skills and Qualifications required for this role include a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of product or project development experience, experience presenting to customers and leaders, experience in successfully building and leading teams in a matrix environment, outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills, planning and problem-solving abilities with product management and delivery teams, and very strong verbal and written English communication skills.
