Product Operations Manager

Role Overview: As a Proto/Product Ops Manager at Renesas, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth of the company's India offices. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, setting goals, managing budgets and resources, recruiting and training employees, and monitoring performance. Your main focus will be on material disposition, ATE test program release, logistics, materials, and vendor coordination within semiconductor manufacturing. Additionally, you will work closely with internal departments, external vendors, and supply chain partners to ensure samples are built on schedule and delivered on time. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with Renesas business units, supply chain, and external vendors to ensure timely sample builds and deliveries. - Plan and track product shipments in coordination with internal departments to meet customer requirements. - Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and warehouse teams to ensure timely pick-up and delivery of goods. - Prepare and manage shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, Airway Bill, and customs paperwork. - Resolve conflicts or issues related to delivery delays or product damage. - Generate regular reports for management on costs, efficiency, and delays. - Work closely with the procurement team to ensure purchase orders are placed for external vendors and OSATs. - Manage material planning, scheduling, expediting, and tracking for Research and Development activities. - Identify critical paths, propose risk mitigation and contingency strategies for delays and shortages. - Interface with external vendors to ensure proto requirements are clearly communicated and met. - Ensure all proto build documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date. - Monitor backend product yield daily and manage disposition for issue resolution, retests, inspections, and data analysis. - Assist in test program checkout at the factory and monitor safe ramp execution. - Identify operations-related yield loss and work on resolution strategies. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering preferred. - 10+ years of hands-on experience in supporting logistics operations and material planning. - Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. - Effective communication and reporting skills. - Knowledge in semiconductor proto sample manufacturing processes.
