As an Assistant Manager Customs & Logistics at Inox Solar Limited, your primary responsibility will be managing and coordinating import operations, documentation, logistics, transportation, and MIS. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of operations related to Solar cell, module, BOM, and CAPEX Equipment imports. Your key accountabilities will include handling imports documentation, preparing price comparisons for Module BoM items based on landed cost, tracking and managing inventory for cell and module line BoM items, and liaising with the Customs Department for In-Bond Manufacturing License. You will also be responsible for processing applications for Import of Goods at Concessional Rate of Duty (IGCR) related to Raw Material Import and managing local logistics. In addition, you will collaborate with the Purchase/Procurement team for imports planning and documentation, as well as with CHA/Customs/Custodian/S/lines/LSP for financial losses control. Your role will require practical experience in Import Order Executions, handling Letter of Credit, Shipping, Import Inspections, Documentation, Transportation Management, and Logistics and Shipping management. To excel in this role, you are expected to have a minimum qualification of Any Graduate, with a Diploma in EXIM/MBA being preferred. You should possess functional skills in cost sensitivity to achieve cost savings in logistics/shipping, customer, data, and documentation control, as well as MIS. Proficiency in MS Office and SAP is also essential.
