1. Position Overview The Product Manager will lead the design, evaluation, and refinement of digital and technology-enabled solution portfolios to support 10,000 Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) in adopting sustainable, productive-use energy applications. This role requires strong product-thinking capabilities, comfort with user research across diverse value chains, and the ability to translate field needs into scalable digital tools, workflows, and solution packages. The Product Manager will work closely with program teams, technology partners, in ators, and ecosystem institutions to ensure solutions are usable, viable, and replicable across contexts.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Product Strategy & Solution Development
- Define product strategy aligned with the 10K FPO initiative s objectives and ecosystem requirements.
- Design and bench k digital tools, platforms, and solution portfolios for FPO operations, livelihood planning, asset management, financing, and ket access.
- Translate field insights into product requirements, specifications, and user journeys for diverse FPO typologies.
- Maintain an iterative product lifecycle process, including prototyping, testing, feedback integration, and version up .
B. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with program teams to understand field realities, data gaps, and user pain points.
- Coordinate with technology partners, developers, and solution providers to ensure timely and high-quality product builds.
- Collaborate with financial institutions, government partners, and in ators to integrate financing workflows, advisories, and service-delivery mechanisms.
C. User-Centred Design & Field Validation
- Conduct user research with FPO Boards, CEOs, enterprises, and field teams to test usability and relevance of product features.
- Facilitate pilots, de strations, and rapid learning cycles in different geographies.
- Track performance metrics and adoption patterns to refine product roadmaps.
D. Knowledge, Documentation & Quality Assurance
- Develop product documentation, including feature briefs, workflow diagrams, training materials, and adoption guides.
- Establish bench ks, quality standards, and feedback loops across states.
- Contribute to knowledge products, case studies, and solution playbooks.
3. Required Qualifications & Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in product management, digital in ation for development, agriculture-tech, rural technology solutions, or similar domains.
- Experience in designing digital tools/platforms for last-mile users; familiarity with FPO operations preferred.
- Strong skills in user research, requirement gathering, product roadmapping, and cross-functional coordination.
- Experience working with technology development teams and external partners.
- Strong analytical, documentation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
4. Key Competencies

- Strong stakeholder management across technical, programmatic, and institutional domains.
