A fast-growing experiential travel brand is expanding its footprint to India after establishing a strong foothold in the Himalayas.The company is driven by a mission

to become the leading experiential travel brand in South Asia.

Beyond simply selling tours, the goal is to craft immersive journeys that connect travelers deeply with local culture, nature, and communities. The team is seeking an entrepreneurial product leader to bring this vision to life in India.You will launch and establish the brand as a trusted, high-quality inbound travel operator in India.The successful candidate will serve as the

first employee for the India vertical

, owning the business end-to-end:

Product Creation ? Supplier Network ? OTA & Sales Enablement ? On-Ground Delivery.

This is a high-ownership role that combines product strategy with operations control, and digital distribution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inbound Product Creation & Contracting (?40%)
  • Designs and launches 510 signature Hero Products that align with the brand's experiential philosophy (e.g., Golden Triangle + Wildlife, Kerala Wellness, Spiritual Varanasi, Slow Rajasthan).
  • Personally identifies, vets, and contracts suppliers: transport, boutique hotels, expert guides, and unique local experiences.
  • Ensures partners meet international safety, service, and reliability standards.
  • Builds pricing and costing models (net rates, rack rates, margins) that work commercially for both B2B and B2C channels.
  • Operations, Quality & Risk Management (?30%)
  • Owns end-to-end execution of inbound tours in India.
  • Ensures every trip consistently meets strict experience standards - moving beyond sightseeing to genuine engagement.
  • Acts as the primary escalation point for all on-ground issues (logistical, medical, or situational).
  • Briefs and aligns guides, drivers, and vendors on expectations of international guests.
  • Continuously improves SOPs based on guest feedback and on-ground learnings.
  • Market Building & OTA Management (?30%)
  • OTA Ownership: Manages and optimizes product listings on key platforms (Viator, GetYourGuide, TripAdvisor) to drive direct bookings. Ensures content, pricing, and availability are always up to date.
  • Leverages existing networks to onboard international B2B partners (agents, tour operators, DMC alliances).
  • Supports inbound sales by training and enabling the Nepal-based sales team on India products.
  • Collaborates on pricing, positioning, and seasonal strategies for global source markets.

Candidate Profile

  • 4+ years of experience in Inbound Tourism in India, ideally with a DMC, tour operator, or travel product company.
  • Strong background in Product Creation and/or Operations, not just execution.
  • Digital Savvy: Experience managing listings on OTAs (Viator/TripAdvisor) or working with B2B booking systems.
  • Must possess a trusted supplier network across key regions (Rajasthan, Kerala, UP, etc.).
  • Western Market Expertise: Deep understanding of the specific expectations of US/UK/EU travelers (service levels, pacing, safety, hygiene).
  • Entrepreneurial: Comfortable working independently before a full team is built.
  • Familiarity with Indian tourism compliance (MoT, GST, permits) is a plus.

  • You are looking for a short-term or purely execution-focused role.
