Product Manager:
Job Summary:
As a Product Manager for Education Infrastructure Loans, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing loan products tailored to the infrastructure financing needs of educational institutions. You will conduct market research, define product features, ensure regulatory compliance, work with cross-functional teams, and oversee the full product lifecycle to drive customer adoption and portfolio growth.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct research to understand trends in the education sector and the evolving infrastructure needs.
Benchmark against similar offerings from competitors (banks, NBFCs, government schemes). Support marketing and outreach campaigns to attract educational institutions.
Work closely with Credit, Risk, Sales, Legal, Operations, and IT teams to ensure seamless implementation and rollout.
Track product uptake, disbursal volumes, customer satisfaction, and delinquencies. Analyse performance data to iterate and improve the product. Identify opportunities for product innovation (e.g., green campus loans, blended finance models, PPP structures).
Skills:
Product design and business case development
Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
Understanding of education sector economics and regulatory landscape
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Familiarity with loan origination and servicing systems.
