Description
As a Product Manager at Armada, an edge computing startup, your role will involve developing the next generation of edge offerings. You will be responsible for: - Developing and defining the product roadmap for enabling a hyper-converged edge computing and AI platform, including IaaS and PaaS solutions. - Creating differentiating product requirements and specifications based on customer needs and market demand. - Collaborating with the UX/UI design team to craft intuitive and streamlined experiences. - Working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to ensure successful product delivery. - Conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities in cloud, edge, and AI industries. - Engaging with engineering teams throughout technical design, implementation, launch, and operation of features and capabilities. - Conducting product demos for external parties such as customers, partners, investors, and CXO level audience within the company. - Staying updated on emerging technologies in computing, storage, networking, connectivity, cloud services, application platforms, app marketplaces, edge computing, IoT, computer vision, and AI/ML technologies. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in product management, focusing on cloud, SaaS, connectivity, and AI. - Strong expertise in crafting intuitive UX for complex software solutions. - Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills. - Experience working with global companies across time zones. - Experience with Cloud Infrastructure, Data Center or Edge computing, Storage, Networking. - Understanding of Kubernetes, containers, and virtualization technologies, with the ability to partner closely with engineering. - Experience with Marketplace and Application platforms, MSP Portal development or Integrations, Commerce, and Billing. - Experience with building IoT platforms and/or integrations with IoT Assets. Preferred qualifications include experience with AI/ML, drones, autonomous vehicles, robotics, or related technologies, as well as Cloud edge solutions such as Edge Azure Stack Hub and AWS Outposts.
