Product Owner / Product Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Act as

  Product Owner

  for assigned banking products and initiatives
• Define and communicate

  product vision, roadmap, and priorities

• Own and manage the

  product backlog

  , including writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with

  business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors

  across geographies
• Facilitate

  Agile ceremonies

  (backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)
• Translate business requirements into

  functional and non-functional requirements

• Ensure alignment between

  business goals, customer needs, and technical delivery

• Manage dependencies, risks, and issues, ensuring timely resolution
  
• Support

  UAT, release planning, and post-release validation

• Drive continuous improvement in product delivery and Agile practices
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of experience as a

  Product Owner / Product Manager

• Strong experience in the

  Banking or Financial Services domain

• Hands-on experience working in

  Agile/Scrum environments

• Proven expertise in

  stakeholder management

  , including senior business leaders
• Strong understanding of

  banking products, systems, and processes

• Experience with

  backlog management tools

  (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  
• Ability to work effectively in a

  distributed team

  and align with Australia time zones

Nice to Have

• Experience working with

  global stakeholders

• Agile certifications (CSPO, CSM, SAFe POPM, etc.)
  
• Exposure to regulatory and compliance requirements in banking
  
• Experience in data-driven decision-making and analytics
