Product Manager, Commerce Platform

Role Overview: You will be leading the strategic direction and execution of key parts of the AppDirect commerce platform, focusing on checkout, order management, and productivity. Your role will be crucial in enhancing the platform's capabilities and ensuring a seamless buying journey for marketplace customers globally. Key Responsibilities: - Define and communicate the vision, strategy, and roadmap for key commerce and administrative functions, aligning with business goals and market needs. - Gather and analyze customer feedback, market trends, and competitive data to make informed product decisions and prioritize enhancements. - Collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Operations teams to deliver solutions meeting customer needs and driving business growth. - Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation through launch and iteration, defining and tracking success metrics for continuous improvement and innovation. - Maintain clear and proactive communication with stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the product development process. - Optimize purchase and checkout processes for scalability, efficiency, and user satisfaction, leveraging data-driven insights and best practices. Qualifications Required: - 7+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on commerce platforms, order management, shopping cart, checkout, and fulfillment services processes. Experience with eCommerce or subscription billing is a plus. - Proven track record of building AI-based product recommendations based on customer signals and purchase behavior. - Strong understanding of digital commerce technologies, enterprise search, data visualization, event-driven architecture, and UX design principles. - Demonstrated leadership skills in inspiring cross-functional teams towards a common vision. - Proficiency in data analytics tools and metrics-driven decision-making. - Excellent communication skills to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
