You will be responsible for determining customers" needs and desires by specifying the research required to obtain market information. Your role will involve recommending the nature and scope of present and future product lines through the review of product specifications, requirements, and new ideas. You will own the product roadmap. As part of your responsibilities, you will assess product market data by collaborating with field salespeople, making sales calls, and evaluating the outcomes. Working closely with engineering teams, you will translate the product roadmap into release vehicles. Additionally, you will evaluate market competition by comparing the company's products with competitors" offerings. You will define the product marketing strategy, which includes engagements with analysts and influencers, digital marketing initiatives, webinars, content generation, and more. Collaboration with the marketing team will be essential to execute the product marketing strategy effectively. Collaborating with the sales director, you will work towards obtaining product market share by developing sales strategies. You will provide management with valuable insights by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts, special reports, and analyses. Introduction and marketing of new products will be a key aspect, involving the development of time-integrated plans with sales, advertising, and production teams. Furthermore, you will determine product pricing based on market research data, production and sales costs, volume anticipation, and special orders. Your role will also involve managing the product management staff through recruitment, selection, orientation, and training of employees. To stay updated in the industry, you will be required to maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, building personal networks, and participating in professional societies.,
