Product Development & Quality (Textile Process)

Orbit Exports Ltd is a leading Fabric manufacturing Company and is currently looking for a dynamic and experienced PD & Quality Lead for the process unit located at Sarigam, Vapi. As the Product Development & Quality Lead, your primary focus will be on creating, designing, and enhancing fabric products while ensuring quality control throughout the entire process from concept to final product. Your responsibilities will include conducting market research and trend analysis, product design and conceptualization, overseeing sampling, coordinating production activities, conducting in-process quality control and testing, inspecting and testing raw materials and fabrics, maintaining documentation, facilitating internal communication, and ensuring sustainability and compliance standards are met. The ideal candidate should hold a B.Tech or M.Tech degree in Textile Engineering and have a solid background of 10-15 years in Woven Synthetics fabrics, particularly in weaving and processing. Proficiency in textile materials, fabric construction, dyeing/finishing processes, textile testing, and quality control standards is essential. The candidate should also possess strong project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Awareness of sustainability practices and regulations in the textile industry, along with creativity, innovation, excellent communication skills, and problem-solving abilities are also required.
