Product Development Manager

Job Purpose:

product development and lifecycle management

hands-on product engineering, process standardization, and cross-functional execution

Accountabilities:

• Design and finalize technical specifications of MDUs in collaboration with Engineering, Procurement, Regulatory, and vendors
• Manage ordering, fabrication, and automation integration (VTS/VB, Abloy Locks, branding, painting, etc.) ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and timelines
• Shall be responsible for ensuring timely inspection by statutory bodies, delivery & commissioning of MDUs at site in coordination with different vendors, sales team, FF project team etc.
• Own Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) of MDUs, driving continuous improvement in safety, digitalization, regulatory compliance, and operational reliability
• Drive statutory compliance for RBML and 3rd-party MDUs (PESO, W&M, RTO, and others) ensuring readiness for inspection and documentation audits
• Shall be responsible to design and draft specifications for fabrication of filling facilities. It includes finalization of specifications of filling facility and preparing the standard specifications with inputs from Engineering, Regulatory, Procurement, MDU suppliers and other stakeholders
• Shall be responsible for providing Engineering solutions and value engineering of existing solutions for E-Commerce business. It includes improvements & further development in design/engineering of MDUs and MDU FFs.
• Shall be responsible for branding of MDUs in coordination with internal team - It includes branding & painting of MDUs: Artwork, product improvements & other related branding as per Legal Metrology & PESO Rules
• Shall be responsible to publish monthly MIS related to Asset Utilizations, Safety & Compliances, Asset Upkeep status, Risk reports, etc.
