Job Description

The individuals joining the new Evolutionary Platform team will be continually striving to advance engineering excellence and technology innovation. The mission is to power the next generation of the digital product and services through innovation, collaboration, and transparency. You will be a technology leader and doer who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Desired Profile:

Proven expert knowledge and experience in designing and implementing microservices using Java (version 8 or above), Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and AWS is required
Working knowledge of the Big data technologies like Apache Spark (Scala/Java), Hive, Solr, ElasticSearch, etc.
Experience with SQL and relational databases (Oracle, Snowflake) preferred. Experience with NoSQL databases nice to have
Experience in cloud technologies and practices, building applications using services such as AWS S3, EC2, Lambda, EKS, CloudFormation, etc.
Hands on development with Linux/Bash scripts and Docker containers
Experience working in an Agile software delivery environment, with exposure to continuous integration and continuous delivery tools
Passionate about technology and delivering solutions to solve business problems using event driven and/or scale-out architectures
Strong technical practice discipline
Great collaboration and interpersonal skills
Creative problem solving and a curiosity fueled by keeping up with advanced technology and industry trends
Strong desire to see innovations make its way to a production-ready state
Ability to work with team members and lead by example in code, feature development, and knowledge sharing
Bachelors or Masters degrees in Computer science, Mathematics, or any other quantitative disciplin
