Description
Dayforce is seeking a self-driven, highly motivated Senior Product Designer to lead and shape our design efforts across web and mobile platforms, serving millions of users around the world. HR and workforce management tools should reflect the same care and craft as the best consumer products rooted in modern user- and human-centered design practices. As a Senior Product Designer, you will work across the full spectrum of design from upfront research and insight generation to ideation, prototyping, testing, and final delivery. While we don t expect unicorns who master everything, we do look for designers who are comfortable across the process, eager to collaborate, and passionate about growing their skills. A key part of success in this role lies in collaboration with Product Managers, Engineers, and other Designers. You will play a leadership role in these relationships helping prioritize work, shape product direction, and guide others toward execution.
What You ll Get to Do
Design and re-design Talent experiences, shaping how organizations attract, grow, and retain people through Dayforce s unified, AI-powered platforM Conduct user research to understand needs and behaviors, and run usability tests to validate solutions, supported by UX ResearchersPartner with Product Managers and Engineers to plan roadmaps, gather requirements, and define design prioritiesLead and inspire other designers, offering guidance, critique, and mentorship to help elevate the overall design practicePresent work and articulate design rationale to executives and key stakeholdersIdeate and prototype to explore creative, feasible design directionsDeliver detailed design work built upon our Design System, contributing to and extending it as neededAdvocate for Accessibility and Inclusive Design best practicesCollaborate effectively with a global team across regions and time zones, ensuring seamless design alignment and communicationSupport recruiting efforts, including outreach and participation in interviewsApply a strong understanding of project management and product development disciplines to coordinate effectively across roles and teamsSkills and experience we valueExpert in Figma as a design tool, and familiar with project workflows in Jira and Confluence5+ Years of experience as a Product designer. Proven experience shipping successful web and mobile productsComfortable being self-directed able to take ownership without constant oversightDeep familiarity with user-centered and human-centered design approachesOf the following skills, Expert in one, Advanced in two, and Proficient in two:Interaction Design, Visual Design, Information Architecture, UX Writing, Conducting User Research, Research Insights and Analysis, Front-end DevelopmentUnderstands how design decisions connect to business goals and customer valueExperience working within complex systems and enterprise SaaS environmentsStrong knowledge of Accessibility Guidelines and Inclusive Design principlesExcellent communication, presentation, collaboration, and leadership skillsAbility to foster a culture of design excellence, mentoring peers and promoting cross-functional understanding of design s role in product success
