Product Designer

In this role, you will be responsible for owning and evolving our design system, driving consistency, accessibility, and efficiency across all product teams. Collaborating with the Marketing and Product Design teams, you will ensure alignment of visual standards and brand expression to reinforce our unified user experience through every component, token, and asset. As the Product Designer specializing in design systems at Mitratech, your responsibilities will include leading and maintaining the design system, including Figma component libraries, design tokens, usage documentation, and accessibility best practices. You will collaborate with developers to ensure design-to-code consistency, create high-quality illustrations, icons, and visual elements for enterprise web-based applications, and provide visual guidance and system-based mockups to support product teams with new initiatives. Your role will also involve promoting system adoption across the company, supporting the Senior Product Designer in creating mocks and prototypes for new product initiatives, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, advocating for visual design best practices and brand consistency, and ensuring design fidelity during implementation by working with developers. To excel in this role, you should have a degree in Computer Science or a related field, at least 4+ years of experience in digital product design with a focus on design systems, solid technical skills including knowledge of HTML and CSS, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, and experience with prototyping tools like Figma or Adobe XD. Strong collaboration, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills are essential, as well as adaptability and a proactive mindset.
