Product Designer

Company Overview: M1Xchange is an RBI licensed TReDS platform (Trade Receivables Discounting System) enabling thousands of MSMEs to get their receivables paid early and grow their business. The platform enables MSMEs to discount their approved invoices pending with corporate buyers basis a unique bidding model from 65+ banks and NBFCs to get the best interest rates for the transaction. Position Overview: We are on the lookout for a talented and innovative UI/UX Product Designer to join our dynamic team. As a UI/UX Product Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the overall user experience and visual identity of our products. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, understanding user needs, and translating them into visually appealing and functional designs. Responsibilities: 1. User-Centric Design: Conduct user research to understand the needs, preferences, and behaviours of our target audience. Design user personas and user journey maps to guide design decisions. 2. UI/UX Design: Create high-quality user interfaces for web portal and mobile applications that align with product goals. Produce wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups to illustrate design concepts. Ensure a consistent and cohesive design language across all product touchpoints. 3. Collaboration: Work closely with design managers, product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand product goals and requirements. Collaborate on an ongoing basis to iterate and refine designs based on feedback. 4. Design Systems: Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems to ensure consistency across products. Advocate for the use of design systems to streamline the design and development process. 5. Usability Testing: Conduct usability testing sessions to gather user feedback and validate design choices. Analyse testing results and make data-driven design improvements. 6. Prototyping: Develop interactive prototypes to demonstrate and test design concepts and interactions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. Proven experience in UI/UX design for digital products. At least 6-10 years of experience working in a similar role preferred Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar. Strong understanding of design principles, user-centred design, and usability. Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, etc.) is a plus.
