Product Design Leader

We are seeking an experienced of product designer who interested in design, develop Electronic products. We sincerely invite you to join our Foxconn product design team in an exciting and fast-paced organization. This is an exciting job. With the goal of creating experiences that influence the industry, as well as peoples lives. By constantly focusing on the clients. You will develop electronic products and useful to billions of people worldwide.

Key Qualifications

Essential skills or experiences:

• BS/MS/B. Tech/M. Tech in Product/Industrial Design or Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
• Work experience with CAD tools or simulation tools.
• Management experience to lead a team size of 20-30x or more.
• 10 plus years’ experience in product design (preferably consumer electronic products i.e. Handheld/portable device).
• Anticipates integration challenges between mechanical, electrical, and module teams early in design cycle, preventing late-stage conflicts between components or parts.
• Strong grasp of fundamentals of heat transfer, structural mechanics, and material science to enable development of innovative designs and execution of failure analysis.
• Proficient in written English and experience to collaborate with overseas clients.
• Strong work ethic with a high degree of flexibility to collaborate with both client and Foxconn PD engineers and cross function teams.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment within product development phases and builds.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Process management/Design/Failure analysis in EMS area.
• Team handling capability and work under pressure is required.
• Good at continuous engagement with client, drive the meetings, and follow up with actions.

Preferred (or what we offer for training):

• Proven ability in 3D CAD modeling systems and workflow, UG NX or Solidworks fluency desirable.
• Understanding knowledge of mechanical design principles, including GD&T, materials and manufacturing processes.
• Experience in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
• Working in highly equipped Labs and knowing the equipment to resolve issues.
