Product Design Engineer

You will be a Product Design Engineer at STEMbotix, an EdTech start-up dedicated to providing cutting-edge solutions in robotics, coding, STEM education, AR/VR, 3D printing, computer vision, animation, and drones. Your role will involve designing and developing innovative products for robotics, STEM education, and EdTech applications. You will create 2D drawings, 3D models, and detailed technical specifications using CAD software, collaborate with cross-functional teams, prototype, test, and iterate product designs, and ensure optimization for manufacturing and cost efficiency. Additionally, you will research new materials and manufacturing processes, prepare product documentation, and support custom solutions for client projects and competitions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and develop innovative products for robotics, STEM education, and EdTech applications. - Create 2D drawings, 3D models, and detailed technical specifications using CAD software. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver functional designs. - Work on prototyping, testing, and iterating product designs based on feedback. - Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturing, assembly, and cost efficiency. - Research new materials, manufacturing processes, and design trends. - Assist in preparing product documentation, assembly manuals, and technical guides. - Support the development of custom solutions for client projects and competitions. **Required Skills & Qualifications:** - B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Industrial Design, Mechatronics, or related field. - 1-3 years of experience in product design, preferably in robotics, automation, or consumer electronics. - Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, or similar). - Knowledge of manufacturing processes (3D printing, CNC, injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, etc.). - Strong problem-solving skills and creativity in design thinking. - Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Good communication skills and attention to detail. **Preferred Skills (Good to Have):** - Experience with electronics integration in mechanical designs. - Knowledge of AR/VR, 3D printing, and rapid prototyping tools. - Understanding of material selection for durability and cost-effectiveness. - Exposure to STEM education or robotics competitions.,
