Description
As an Engineer at Kmedika Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a medical device engineering startup in Hyderabad, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to engineering design and development of medical devices. Your key responsibilities will include: - Generating concepts and mechanical designs for Orthopedic implants and surgical instrumentation. - Creating complex 3D models and manufacturing drawings following best engineering design practices. - Performing engineering analyses such as tolerance stacks, FEA structural analysis, and FMEA. - Assisting in developing verification and validation protocols, tests, and reports. - Ensuring that the device meets technical requirements in terms of function, performance, and safety. - Creating presentations and drawings to effectively communicate design rationale, solutions, and recommendations. - Possibly undertaking other duties and responsibilities as assigned. To be considered for this role, you should meet the following qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree and/or master's in mechanical engineering. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in product design, product development, or R&D environment, preferably in the medical device industry. - Strong working knowledge of engineering principles. - Proficiency in Solid Works with advanced modeling skills and the ability to work with complex models and assemblies. CSWE or CSWP certification is strongly preferred. - Strong experience in using and interpreting GD&T, drafting standards per ASME 14.5 Y. - Strong analytical reasoning skills with the ability to influence key decisions based on technical judgment. - Demonstrated utilization of Design for Manufacture/Assembly and Design for Test methodologies. - Ideally, capable of conducting FEA for structural performance analysis. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to write clear and concise documentation using objective evidence and language. - Strong presentation skills to effectively communicate technical material. - Reliable, organized, and consistently delivering high-quality work. - Positive attitude, self-driven, and eager to learn and adapt to project challenges and user requirements.
