Role Overview: At Yugabyte, we are seeking an experienced Product Data Analyst to enhance our product-led experience. If you are enthusiastic about mapping user journeys, analyzing user behavior, optimizing user experience, and conducting continuous experimentation to reduce user time to value, then this role is perfect for you. As a Product Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing data and analytics within our SaaS and On-premises offerings. You will be responsible for conducting in-product experiments, data capture, building data pipelines, and creating reports and dashboards to depict the user journey effectively. Collaborating with product management, engineering, and marketing teams, you will ensure that the right data is captured and utilized to enhance user engagement consistently. Key Responsibilities: - Build the analytics foundation to comprehend, monitor, and enhance YugabyteDB user journey. - Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and design teams to translate in-product data insights into feature enhancements and identify opportunities for improved user engagement and support. - Define key metrics for measuring product-led sales success, develop dashboards, and reports to reveal insights and steer decision-making. - Gain a data-driven understanding of user Acquisition, Activation, Time-to-value, and Revenue. - Deepen the understanding of user behaviors through analytics and experimentation to unveil strategic business opportunities for Yugabyte. - Lead experimentation, execution, and evaluate their impact on key metrics. - Guide the team in standardizing analytical processes and advocate these methods across different functions. - Influence roadmap development and strategic decision-making processes. - Cultivate a data-driven, test-and-learn culture by sharing insights through data storytelling. Qualifications Required: - Preferably a quantitative degree or equivalent experience in fields like Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or Engineering; an advanced degree is a plus. - 4-12 years of analytics experience, preferably with PLG and in-product analytics exposure. - Proficiency in constructing metric frameworks to comprehend user behaviors. - Familiarity with tools like Rudderstack, Segment, Pendo, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Intercom, etc. - Advanced SQL skills, expertise in building data pipelines, and optimizing queries. - Comfortable delivering reports and insights within a data visualization platform; familiarity with Looker is advantageous. - Led experimentation and conducted statistical/predictive analysis to guide decision-making. - Fostered a culture of continuous improvement by providing clear direction, setting expectations, and engaging cross-functional teams. - Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with a track record of collaborating cross-functionally to achieve desired outcomes.,
