Job Description

Key Skills: Product Costing, RFQ Request For Quote. Roles and Responsibilities: Follow company policies and guidelines to accurately set up costing parameters. Manage the day-to-day operations and activities of the costing department. Maintain client-wise costing templates and organize associated documentation in designated folders. Monitor the RFQ (Request for Quotation) pending list, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely quote submissions. Collect all necessary costing inputs from clients to perform precise product costing. Coordinate with clients and internal cross-functional team (CFT) members for questions and clarifications before initiating costing. Collaborate with Business Development, Supply Chain, New Product Development (NPD), Tool Room, Manufacturing, and Process Engineering teams. Participate in price negotiation discussions and support price finalization and annual cost review processes. Schedule periodic plant visits to validate actual cost parameters and perform should-cost analysis. Work closely with the ERP team to ensure compliance with SOPs, and manage ERP BOM (Bill of Materials) and pricing approvals. Experience Requirements: 3-5 years of experience in product costing, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment. Strong understanding of cost estimation techniques and ERP systems. Experience working with cross-functional teams and in price negotiation scenarios. Familiarity with RFQ management and client communication related to costing. Ability to conduct plant visits and analyze cost performance data. Education: Any Graduation.
