Product Controller for Global Clearing business- Associate

In this role as a Product Controller for the Global Clearing business within the Corporate & Investment Bank, you will be primarily responsible for PnL and risk reporting for the Clearing desk. Your main tasks will include owning daily P&L and month-end close processes, providing detailed financial analysis and reporting, and collaborating with the business to establish strong controls and introduce new initiatives. This position will provide you with a great opportunity to develop expertise in a rapidly evolving industry. **Key Responsibilities:** - Own daily P&L and month-end close processes for Clearing Desk - Provide detailed analysis and reporting on the financials to desk heads, business managers, and senior finance management - Partner with the business to drive forth and implement robust controls and new business initiatives - Coordinate across various back office support functions to ensure timely resolution of control and reporting issues - Act as an analytical and project support resource for product control - Ensure adherence to the CIB product controller standards and actively work on remediation of any gaps - Compile and distribute Management Information System (MIS) to the business, such as monthly financials and ad-hoc requests **Qualifications Required:** - Work experience in Finance or Accounting - Strong quantitative/analytical skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal - Ability to multitask and deliver in a high-paced environment - Ability to implement and maintain effective controls - Self-motivated, results-driven, with the ability to enhance current processes and drive operational change - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint - Derivatives experience The company has a rich history of providing Sales, Execution, and Clearing services since 1979 and offers electronic trading access to over 50 exchanges.
