Job Description

Understanding/ creating documents of the electronics, electrical and mechanical hardware designs outputs required for 3rd party test agencies (Intertek/ UL/ TUV).
Verifying the pre-compliance at product and module level for machine safety/EMI/EMC and other certifications.
Creating appropriate test cases, test plans and test environments to execute the functional safety testing, certification testing for internal customer/ test laboratories.
Based upon your feedback, the decision to take the design to production will be decided.
Driving the testing of electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical components in cross functional team structure.
Responsible for end-to-end product compliance, right from product design till field installation and acceptance testing.
Suggesting design improvements /feedback based upon your test results.
Performing reliability tests (customized as well as standard e.g., HALT-HASS, Certification), abnormal test and safety tests as per requirement documents.
Basic understanding of electronics schematics and layout.
Understanding about IEC/UL/CE/ EN/CSA safety standards LV, Machine directive standards.
Basic understanding of functional safety for programmable electronics and safety devices.
