Job Description

Responsibilities: Manage Spend Purchases: Handle both direct and indirect spend purchases to optimize procurement processes. Category Management and Source-to-Pay Expertise: Apply expertise in category management and the source-to-pay process. Work closely with the legal team to finalize contracts and agreements. Market Insights and Innovation: Stay informed about market dynamics and sourcing trends to identify opportunities for innovation and process enhancement. Supplier Qualification and Relationship Management: Qualify suppliers, maintain strong relationships, and collaborate with teams to identify and mitigate business risks. Strategy Development: Partner with management to develop and implement procurement strategies aimed at cost reduction and process streamlining. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with various departments to gather quotes, negotiate contracts, register vendors, place orders, and ensure timely delivery of materials. ERP System Utilization: Utilize ERP tools (Oracle experience preferred) to manage procurement activities effectively. Negotiation and Partnership: Demonstrate strong negotiating and partnership skills to achieve targets and deadlines. Vendor Interaction and Evaluation: Obtain techno-commercial offers from vendors, manage the evaluation of bids, and negotiate terms and conditions. Order and Contract Management: Prepare comparison sheets for suppliers, create purchase orders or contracts, and follow up to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Coordination with Internal Teams: Coordinate with planning, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure efficient material receipt and storage. Compliance and Record-Keeping: Maintain compliance with audit requirements and manage procurement records accurately. Alternate Sourcing Strategies: Develop and implement alternate sourcing strategies and provide comprehensive procurement support. You'll be responsible for managing procurement processes, fostering cross-functional partnerships, and implementing strategies to achieve procurement goals.
