Procurement Practice Specialist

As a Procurement Practice Specialist at Accenture, you will be part of the Sourcing & Commodity Management team. Your main responsibilities will include: - Managing various sourcing activities, such as end-to-end sourcing projects, identifying suitable suppliers in different geographies, requesting proposals, negotiating with suppliers, contracting, delivery, and analyzing results. - Contributing to governance activities and playing a part in relevant applicable reporting. - Coordinating the performance of client work with the contract rights and obligations of the parties to ensure contract compliance. - Demonstrating a results-driven approach in a team setting and exhibiting strong client management skills. You will work as part of the Procurement management team, utilizing a systematic approach to buying all the goods and services necessary for the company's sustainability. This involves identifying needs, finding and qualifying suppliers, requesting proposals, negotiating with suppliers, contracting, delivery, and analyzing results. You should be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Market Intelligence & Research, Data Analytics, and Data Visualization. Qualifications required: - Bachelors of Information Technology - 7 to 11 years of experience In this role, you will: - Analyze and solve increasingly complex problems. - Interact with peers within Accenture and possibly with clients and/or Accenture management. - Receive minimal instruction on daily work/tasks and a moderate level of instruction on new assignments. - Make decisions that impact your own work and may affect the work of others. - Act as an individual contributor and/or oversee a small work effort and/or team.
