Procurement Manager-SCM

As a Procurement Associate, the role will include sourcing and evaluating suppliers, negotiating

contracts, and managing budgets to ensure the timely and efficient procurement of solar

components. Key responsibilities include maintaining strong supplier relationships, verifying the

quality of materials, and adapting to market trends and evolving project requirements. The role

also emphasizes ethical decision-making, sustainability, and collaboration with cross-functional

teams to optimize procurement processes and vendor performance.

Core Responsibilities

• Defining Procurement Needs: Collaborate with project teams to define procurement

needs and align strategies with project goals.

• Supplier Sourcing and Evaluation: Source and evaluate suppliers for solar

components while monitoring market trends and industry best practices.

• Quotations, Bids, and Negotiations: Obtain and compare quotes, assist in

negotiations, and adapt strategies to meet changing project requirements.

• Contracts and Purchase Orders: Prepare contracts and purchase orders, ensuring

legal compliance and maintaining accurate records.

• Supplier Relationship Management: Build strong supplier relationships, manage

vendor performance, and conduct audits with professionalism and integrity.

• Logistics and Delivery Coordination: Coordinate logistics to ensure timely delivery of

materials to project sites.

• Quality Assurance: Verify the quality of received materials and support the resolution

of procurement challenges.

• Budget and Cost Management: Assist in managing budgets, tracking costs, and

collaborating with finance teams for accurate reporting.

• Process Improvement and Adaptation: Contribute to process improvements,

adapting to new tools, techniques, and market dynamics.

• Sustainability and Ethics: Prioritize sustainability and ethical considerations in

procurement decisions.

• Team Collaboration and Communication: Communicate effectively with internal

stakeholders and project teams.
