The Procurement Manager will execute overall procurement processes including strategic sourcing, forecasting, conducting research, negotiating with vendors, evaluating bids, analyzing data, and developing & implementing procurement strategy.

Responsibilities:

Devise and implement effective procurement and sourcing strategies.
Explore profitable suppliers and initiate procurement partnerships.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors in the industry.
Prepare block estimates for all projects.
Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and obtain necessary approvals from stakeholders.
Request proposals as per BOQs.
Compare proposals for price and specifications.
Conduct techno-commercial negotiations with vendors to reduce costs.
Review contract specifications on behalf of the company.
Assist in the finalization of vendors.
Communicate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of products.
Manage technological systems that track shipment, inventory, and supply of materials.
Lead transformational activities to build organizational procurement capabilities and improve procurement efficiency.
Standardize BOQ and rates.
Monitor the process of all Work Orders / Purchase Orders.
Approve and release all Work Orders / Purchase Orders through the ERP module.
Conduct regular site visits to ensure work is carried out as per BOQ specifications.
Approve all contractor and vendor bills.
Maintain all records in the ERP system.
Assist operations during the execution phase of any project.
Handle all post-contract work such as amendments and finalization of new line items.
Amend Work Orders / Purchase Orders as required.
