Role Description

This is a full-time on-site exciting opportunity for a Procurement Manager, based in a beautiful tea estate in Sribhumi district of assam.

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating suppliers(mostly farmers), negotiating contracts, managing procurement processes, educating the farmers and ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.

Additional tasks include monitoring supplier performance, optimizing procurement strategies, and maintaining contract records to ensure compliance and efficiency in procurement operations.

Qualifications

• Skills in Supplier Evaluation and Procurement to identify and assess vendors and ensure efficient purchasing processes.
• Strong Analytical Skills for evaluating supplier performance and making data-informed decisions.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage multiple suppliers and coordinate with internal teams.
• Is technologically sound for using the new oil- data.
• Has a commercially sound mind.
• Can think on feet.
• Has highest ethical standards who can uphold the good will of promoters who are running a tea estate since 1964 in the area and have diversified with this new age startup.
• Performance (curricular and non curricular) in 10th, 12th and Bachelor's degree is required, as we want to asses discipline in formative years and CV having snippets of your real world experience to asses initiative and innovation in workplace.
