Job Description

Procurement Executive

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Management:

· Source, negotiate, and procure materials, equipment, and services required for different projects.

· Develop and maintain relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers.

Vendor Management:

· Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, delivery time, and reliability.

· Identify and onboard new suppliers to diversify the vendor base.

Cost Optimization:

· Analyse market trends to ensure cost-effective purchasing without compromising quality.

· Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors to achieve favourable pricing and payment terms.

Inventory Control:

· Monitor inventory levels to ensure the timely availability of required materials.

· Coordinate with the warehouse team for stock verification and timely replenishment.

Material Transportation:

· Oversee the transportation of procured items to the designated worksite within stipulated timelines.

· Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure efficient delivery of materials.

· Monitor transportation schedules and resolve issues that may arise during transit.

Entry Pass Management:

· Handle the process of obtaining entry passes for materials and equipment as per site regulations.

· Coordinate with the security and administrative teams to ensure smooth entry and exit of goods.

· Verify documentation and comply with statutory requirements for material movement.

Documentation and Compliance:

· Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and other procurement documentation.

· Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal regulations.

Coordination:

· Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other departments to understand material requirements.

· Track and expedite the delivery of materials to meet project deadlines.

Reporting:

· Maintain procurement records and generate periodic reports on purchases, expenditures, and inventory status.

· Provide updates to management on procurement activities and challenges.

Qualifications and Skills:

Diploma / Bachelor's degree in any field

Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing.

Skills:

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software.

Sound knowledge of inventory management and supply chain processes.

Familiarity with materials and industry standards is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
