Procurement Executive (Project)

As a Procurement Executive for the greenfield agrochemical manufacturing facility in Dahej, Gujarat, your role will be crucial in leading the procurement of project-related equipment and ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing. Your technical expertise and negotiation skills will play a key role in supplier management and equipment procurement for various aspects of the project. Key Responsibilities: - Procure project-related equipment such as SS & MSGL reactors, filtration and drying process equipment, fabricated structures, pumps, and instruments for the agrochemical plant. - Manage end-to-end vendor relationships including sourcing, negotiation, contracting, delivery tracking, and post-sales support. - Identify and onboard new vendors in alignment with project timelines and quality standards. - Collaborate closely with project, engineering, and commercial teams to facilitate efficient procurement processes. - Structure and draft purchase contracts to minimize risks, ensure timely delivery, and establish strong warranty and after-sales support terms. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5 years of procurement experience specifically in project equipment, preferably within the agrochemical or chemical process industries. - Possess an existing vendor network and the ability to expand the supplier base for critical and custom components. - Technical background with a degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering. - Strong negotiation, communication, and contract management skills.
