Experience:

Identify potential suppliers and evaluate their offerings based on quality, price, delivery schedules, and service levels.
Issue RFQs (Request for Quotations), RFIs (Request for Information), and RFPs (Request for Proposals) to suppliers.
Negotiate prices, contracts, and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.
Prepare and maintain purchase orders and procurement records.
Coordinate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure timely fulfilment.
Monitor supplier performance and conduct periodic reviews.
Maintain a database of suppliers, price lists, and procurement documentation.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.
Track and analyse market trends to identify new sourcing opportunities.
Resolve any issues related to procurement and delivery.
