Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to manage our purchasing activities and ensure cost-effective procurement of materials and services. The ideal candidate should possess strong negotiation skills, vendor management experience, and a solid understanding of the procurement cycle.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors/suppliers as per organizational requirements
Prepare purchase orders, price comparisons, and cost analysis to support the best procurement decisions
Maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure timely deliveries
Track and monitor inventory levels in coordination with internal teams
Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to achieve optimal cost savings
Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement standards
Maintain procurement records, documentation, and reports
Follow up on pending purchase orders and resolve supplier issues promptly
Coordinate with Finance for invoice verification and timely payments

Skills & Competencies

Good understanding of procurement/purchase functions
Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills
Analytical mindset with attention to detail
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and ERP systems (preferred)
Ability to multitask and work under defined timelines
