Procurement Executive – Food Supply Department

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Procurement Executive to join our Food Supply Department. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of food products (both vegetarian and non-vegetarian), food processing technology, and various cutting models and machines. Candidates with prior experience in food procurement or food-related industries will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle procurement of food supplies including vegetables, meat, and other related items.
• Understand and manage technical specifications of food cutting models (e.g., meat slicers, vegetable choppers, dicing and grinding machines, etc.).
• Source and evaluate vendors/suppliers based on quality, price, delivery, and service.
• Negotiate contracts and maintain relationships with food vendors and suppliers.
• Ensure quality and hygiene standards are met in all food items procured.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, food technologies, and new product innovations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and kitchens to understand and fulfill supply requirements.
• Prepare and maintain procurement reports, order records, and inventory data.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Hotel Management, Agriculture, or relevant field. (Diploma holders with solid experience can also apply.)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in food procurement or food processing/supply chain industry.
• Familiarity with food cutting models, tools, and machines (e.g., meat mincers, vegetable slicers, cutters, etc.).
• Good understanding of food safety, quality, and handling practices.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, procurement software/tools is an advantage.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of local and international food standards and practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹11,994.14 - ₹26,897.72 per month
