Role Overview: As a Procurement and Logistics Officer at Frigosystem India Pvt. Ltd, a subsidiary of Frigosystem S.r.l, you will be responsible for managing inventory control, overseeing warehouse operations, and coordinating logistics management. Your role will involve conducting market research, negotiating contracts, managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely procurement of goods and services. Additionally, you will oversee import & export logistics arrangements, transportation, and distribution processes while collaborating with internal departments to align supply chain objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct market research to identify suitable vendors and negotiate contracts. - Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services. - Manage purchase orders and ensure compliance with company policies. - Track procurement requests and manage purchase agreements. - Manage inventory levels, including receiving, storing, and issuing goods. - Arrange meetings and travel as needed. - Oversee import & export logistics arrangements and customs clearance processes. - Manage transportation and distribution processes, including vehicle maintenance and asset tracking. - Collaborate with internal departments to align supply chain objectives. - Maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, and inventory. - Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cost savings, inventory turnover, and on-time delivery. - Ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
