Qualifications & Experience

Postgraduate degree in Engineering
Minimum
10 years of professional experience
in procurement and contract management for similar works.
Proven track record of handling contracts for projects involving
132kV and above (including up to 400kV)
substations or transmission lines.
Strong knowledge of international procurement procedures and documentation standards.
Experience in working on projects funded by international agencies (preferred).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Team Leader in the
preparation of bid and contract documents
for substation and transmission projects.
Manage the full procurement cycle, ensuring compliance with international standards and funding agency requirements.
Provide oversight and guidance in
contract administration and management
throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure procurement and contracting activities are aligned with project timelines, budgets, and quality requirements.
Support risk identification, claim management, and dispute resolution processes as needed.
