Job Description

Position Overview

Procure-to-Pay Specialist

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Operations

Manage requisition-to-purchase order cycle.
Ensure timely and accurate creation, approval, and release of POs.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define procurement needs and sourcing strategies.

Vendor Management

Maintain vendor master data and ensure compliance with onboarding requirements.
Build strong relationships with suppliers to resolve disputes and improve service levels.
Monitor vendor performance and escalate issues when necessary.

Invoice & Payment Processing

Oversee invoice receipt, validation, and matching against POs and contracts.
Resolve discrepancies between invoices, POs, and goods receipts.
Ensure timely payments in line with company policies and negotiated terms.

Compliance & Controls

Enforce procurement policies, approval hierarchies, and audit requirements.
Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation.
Ensure adherence to SOX, tax, and local regulatory requirements.

Process Improvement
Identify automation opportunities in procurement and accounts payable.
Implement best practices to reduce cycle time and improve accuracy.
Contribute to ERP/P2P system enhancements and testing.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of
end-to-end P2P cycle
(procurement, AP, vendor management).
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba, etc.).
Analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving invoice/PO mismatches.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOX, GST/VAT, local tax laws).
Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
