PROCESS SAFETY EXPERTS

As a Process Safety Expert at DEKRA India Private Limited, you will play a crucial role in contributing to the development of process safety excellence in India. With over 10 years of experience in process safety, risk, and reliability, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects across sectors such as Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, Chemical, and pharmaceutical industries. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading and conducting various process safety studies for greenfield and brownfield projects in multiple sectors - Developing Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA) for projects - Conducting HAZID / HAZOP Studies, SIL Classification & Verification, LOPA, PSM implementation, Fire, Explosion & Toxic Release Consequence Analysis, and other relevant studies - Developing and validating models using industry-standard tools such as DNV PHAST, DNV SAFETI, Detect3D - Conducting PSCI Audit -Pharma Supply Chain Initiative (PSCI) - Providing client-facing support, including presentations, workshops, and stakeholder engagement - Supporting and mentoring junior staff to build internal capabilities in risk assessment and fire & gas mapping Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor's or master's degree in chemical engineering, Process Safety, or a related discipline. - Minimum 10+ years of experience in Process Safety and Risk Assessment - Proven expertise in QRA tools like DNV PHAST, SAFETI, SIL verification using exSILentia, and 3D F&G Mapping with Detect3D - Strong knowledge of international standards and regulatory guidelines - Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) - Strong interpersonal, presentation, and problem-solving abilities - Willingness to travel based on project or client needs DEKRA India Pvt.
