Design Reviewer

As a Design Reviewer at DEKRA (India) Pvt. Ltd., you will be responsible for reviewing the design of Pressure Vessels, Boilers, and other Mechanical Components. Your primary job functions will include: - Performing Design Review of Pressure Equipment/Vessels in compliance with various codes and regulations such as Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) of the European Union (EU), ASME, IBR & PESO. - Reviewing the Technical File before submission to the Customer/NoBo. To be successful in this role, you should have: - 10 - 15 years of hands-on Knowledge and Experience in reviewing Drawings and Design Calculations of Pressure Equipment according to PED, ASME, IBR, and PESO. - Experience in Material Inspections as per EN and ASME Standards (Preferred). - Knowledge of Fabrication, Welding, and NDT as per EN and ASME Standards (Preferred). - Thorough understanding of design requirements of various codes and standards like PED, ASME, IBR, PESO, etc. Qualifications required for this role: - Diploma or B-Tech in Mechanical/Metallurgy. - Specialization/Expertise and Experience in Design Engineering. - Welding qualifications (CSWIP/AWS) and NDT qualifications (as per ASNT/ISO 9712) preferred. - Work experience with a Notified Body (NoBo) or a Pressure Equipment Manufacturer.
