Role Overview: You will be responsible for developing process engineering of new industrial processes, designing new process plants/equipment, and providing technical support for smooth plant operation. Your role will involve performing process simulations, developing Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), and Heat and Material Balances. Additionally, you will oversee the commissioning/construction of new plants and investigate and troubleshoot plant/process problems. Your goal will be to ensure equipment works to its specification and develop methods for upgrading operational techniques. Key Responsibilities: - Develop Basic Engineering Package including process Flow Diagrams, Heat and Material Balances, P & I diagrams, equipment data sheets, and utility summary. - Provide technical support to speciality Plant focusing on capacity utilization, raw material efficiencies, energy efficiencies, quality improvement, environment, health & safety aspects. - Perform process simulations, develop sizing information for Process Equipment, carry out simulation studies, and develop control logics. - Prepare Basic Engineering Package for projects and assist in preparing detail engineering package with the detail engineering contractor. - Conduct root cause analysis of failures, troubleshoot plant issues, identify opportunities for process and plant up-gradation, and provide innovative technical solutions. - Prepare plant and process up-gradation schemes, assist in implementation, and conduct performance trials. Qualifications Required: - Educational Qualifications: - Minimum Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering - Preferred Qualification: M.E./M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering - Functional Skills: - Ability to work independently and as a team member - Excellent interpersonal skills, communication, problem analysis, and problem-solving skills - Demonstrated ability to integrate technology with commercial plant - Technical Skills: - Thorough understanding of process engineering and various chemical processes - Behavioral/Leadership Skills: - Creating and communicating strategic vision - Technical manpower management and development - Strategic decision-making and industry perspective Additional Company Details: This section is omitted as no additional details of the company are provided in the Job Description.,
