Bio-Energy R&D is the next frontier for Technoculture Research. Building on our strengths in electrochemistry, biotechnology, and process miniaturization, we are now developing bio-energy solutions - from green hydrogen and ammonia synthesis to sustainable liquid fuels. This R&D expansion focuses on cost-effective, scalable, and data-driven clean technologies. We are looking for a Process Development Intern to support our chemical engineering team in designing and optimizing novel catalytic and electrochemical processes. This internship is ideal for candidates who are passionate about sustainable technologies and eager to gain hands-on experience in process simulation, flow design, and system-level analysis for innovative applications in green chemistry and bio-energy. Day-to-day Responsibilities Include: - Assisting in simulating chemical and electrochemical processes using Aspen Plus or related software. - Supporting basic techno-economic analysis under the guidance of senior engineers. - Helping prepare process flow diagrams, material balances, and design documentation. - Contributing to literature reviews and patent analysis for process innovation. - Participating in interdisciplinary discussions with biochemists, electrochemists, and instrumentation teams. - Maintaining clear documentation of project data, insights, and process designs. You will be responsible for developing process engineering of new industrial processes, including designing new process plants/equipment or modifying existing ones. You will be required to develop Basic Engineering Packages and provide information throughout proposal, engineering, and construction phases to the project teams. Additionally, you will perform process simulations, develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), and create Heat and Material Balances. Your role will involve developing sizing information for Process Equipment and providing technical support to ensure smooth plant operations and maximum efficiency. Your principal job accountabilities will include developing process engineering for new industrial feasible processes, preparing equipment layouts, and overseeing plant test trials. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting plant/process problems, ensuring equipment works to its specification, and developing methods for upgrading operational techniques. Furthermore, you will provide technical support to enhance plant efficiency, quality, and safety, as well as identifying opportunities for process and plant upgradation. As a qualified candidate, you must hold a minimum qualification of B.E./B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering, with a preferred qualification of M.E./M.Tech. in the same field. You should possess the ability to work independently and as a team member, along with excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Technical skills required include integrating technology with commercial plants and understanding various chemical processes. Additionally, you should exhibit leadership skills such as strategic decision-making, technical manpower management, and industry understanding. The ideal candidate should have a total of 4 years of experience, with relevant experience in process and project engineering. By successfully executing your responsibilities, you will contribute to the development and optimization of industrial processes, ensuring operational excellence and efficiency in plant operations.,
