Job Description

Position description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Process Engineer to optimise and oversee manufacturing processes for solar panel production. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-volume manufacturing with a bit of understanding of photovoltaic technologies.

Primary Responsibilities:

Learn and understand the knob variables of the process and optimise manufacturing processes for improving first-time right and throughput yield of solar panel production.
Analyse production data to identify inefficiencies, yield loss, COPQ and recommend improvements.
Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Maintenance teams to ensure process reliability.
Develop SOPs and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for process-related issues.
Support scale-up of new technologies from pilot to full production.

Educational qualifications

Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic or related field.
3 to 7 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in solar, semiconductor, or Electronic manufacturing.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and statistical process control.
