Job Description

Job Title: Process Engineer Upstream Oil & Gas

Location

Pan India

Experience

4+ years
of total professional experience

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in
Chemical Engineering
or
Petroleum Engineering
from a recognized university.

Professional Experience

Minimum
3 years of experience
in
upstream oil & gas production
as a:

Process Engineer
or
Operations / Plant Operator

Prior experience with upstream oil & gas companies such as:

ONGC, OIL, Cairn, GAIL, Essar, Reliance (RIL)
is preferred.

Remaining experience may be with
engineering/EPC organizations
such as:

LTTS, TOYO, EIL, Technimont
, etc.

EPC experience should be in the role of
Process Design Engineer
, supporting design and engineering activities.

Key Responsibilities

Perform
process design and engineering activities
for upstream oil & gas facilities.
Develop and review:

Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)
Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
Heat & Material Balance (HMB)

Support oil & gas production operations with process optimization and troubleshooting.
Participate in
process simulations and studies
for upstream facilities.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams in EPC environments.
Ensure compliance with applicable
industry codes, standards, and safety practices
.

Technical Skills

Hands-on experience in
process simulation and design
.
Proficiency in
Aspen HYSYS
and
ProSim
.
Good understanding of upstream oil & gas production systems and processes.
Familiarity with EPC project workflows is an advantage.
